About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Verifies electrical materials, installation, terminations, grounding, MV/LV equipment, protection, labeling, testing, and records.

What You Will Do

  • Implement the approved plan, procedures, inspections, meetings, hold points, records, and independent authority assigned to the function.
  • Verify prerequisites before work release and coordinate with construction, design, OEM, testing, Government, and host-nation stakeholders.
  • Identify deficiencies or hazards, require correction, preserve evidence, and escalate recurring or material noncompliance.
  • Maintain complete daily/weekly records, training, qualifications, test/inspection data, and closeout evidence.
  • Support field execution without compromising independent quality, safety, cybersecurity, or compliance authority.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Directly related education/training and substantial experience on federal, military, utility, industrial, or energy construction.
  • Current role-specific certifications, competent/qualified-person status, or inspection credentials as required by the work and award.
  • Ability to work the required Germany/site schedule and communicate effectively across multilingual field teams.
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English sufficiently to explain work operations and receive Government instructions.
  • German-language capability and Germany-local credential/practice knowledge appropriate to the duties; English required for Government-facing functions.

Preferred Qualifications

USACE CQM, EM 385, OSHA, CSP/CHST, NETA/NICET, cybersecurity, or discipline-specific credentials as applicable.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access

  • German-language, local credential, local-practice or continuous-presence needs control selection.
  • Germany-local employment, approved DOCPER/ECOPS accreditation, or other lawful long-term work authorization before onsite work.
  • Table 1 permits qualifying additional discipline QC personnel to be employed by an approved subcontractor; Government approval and onsite presence during assigned work remain mandatory.
  • No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.

Field, Travel and Employment Conditions

  • Work arrangement: FULL-TIME ONSITE - remote work is incidental; minimum presence: Electrical installation, energization, and testing periods.
  • Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
  • Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
  • Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
