About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led SBA 8(a) federal contractor advancing energy resilience and mission assurance. ERP was awarded the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant Microgrid and Combined Heat and Power construction contract in Independence, Missouri. ERP is recruiting its prime-contractor team to direct and oversee the work.

The project integrates a 15 MW dual-fuel turbine CHP system, HRSGs and steam interfaces, natural-gas and backup propane systems, 12.47 kV distribution and substations, SEL-based protection, microgrid controls, cybersecurity, operator training, and full commissioning at an operating industrial facility. The contract allows 1,014 calendar days after notice to proceed. Recruiting begins now; assignment and site mobilization depend on the required bonds, Government NTP, access, and role-specific onboarding.

Position Summary

Control CUI/FCI handling and OT security deliverables for MGCS, SEL devices, HMI, gateways, remote access, backups and configuration baselines. Coordinate compliant information exchange and subcontractor verification.

What You Will Do

  • Define the OT asset, network, user-access, and data-handling boundary with controls and engineering teams.
  • Review MGCS, SEL, HMI, gateway, remote access, backup, logging, and configuration-control deliverables.
  • Verify CUI/FCI handling, authorized systems, subcontractor requirements, and documented approvals before information exchange.
  • Coordinate FAT and site cyber testing without exposing credentials or production systems.
  • Deliver as-built network records, secure configuration baselines, account turnover, and incident-response inputs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Twelve years combined OT/industrial control and cybersecurity or equivalent expertise; working knowledge of CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171 and industrial network segmentation.
  • Industrial OT network architecture and cybersecurity experience.
  • Practical knowledge of NIST SP 800-171/CMMC Level 2 responsibilities appropriate to assigned systems.
  • Ability to meet the applicable installation access, safety, information-handling, and assignment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GICSP, CISSP, Security+, or equivalent experience.
  • IEC 62443, SEL networking, microgrid control, or Army industrial-control-system work.
  • Relevant military, Tribal, apprenticeship, or nontraditional experience that demonstrates equivalent capability where the role permits it.

What Success Looks Like

Approved OT configuration baseline, secure access records, and complete cyber turnover evidence.

Field, Travel and Employment Conditions

  • Work at an operating industrial installation may involve outdoor weather, uneven ground, stairs or ladders, construction noise, PPE, and coordination around ongoing plant operations. The actual essential functions will be reviewed for the assigned role.
  • Project needs may include scheduled outages, factory testing, startup travel, or occasional weekend and alternate-shift work, subject to employer policies and approved site plans.
  • Final assignment follows approved work packages, qualifications, installation access, and project authorization. Personnel who handle FCI/CUI must use only approved systems and procedures.
  • ERP will provide the approved compensation range, benefits, and any travel terms through its normal hiring process. The internal CSS compensation category is not a promise of a particular rate.
  • ERP welcomes qualified Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians members, local Missouri candidates, veterans, military spouses, people with disabilities, and applicants from all backgrounds. Hiring decisions follow applicable law and the requirements of the actual employer.

Application Materials

  • Resume with month/year dates, employers, responsibilities, and relevant project types.
  • Current licenses, training, trade qualifications, or certifications needed for the assigned work, with expiration dates if applicable.
  • A concise example of comparable work, availability to work in Independence, and earliest possible start after NTP. References may be requested later.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
