About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Test and certify the installed fire-alarm system and support Government final acceptance.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute approved test procedures covering devices, circuits, power, interfaces, alarm/supervisory functions, software and notification.
  • Record objective results, failures, corrections and retests.
  • Coordinate QFPE, CQC, commissioning, Government and AHJ witnesses.
  • Provide signed test records and turnover support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least eight years of relevant experience testing and certifying fire-alarm systems.
  • Valid DIN 14675 certification.
  • Manufacturer-specific training in installation, adjustment, testing and operation of the installed equipment.
  • German-language capability and Germany-local credential/practice knowledge appropriate to the duties; English required for Government-facing functions.

Preferred Qualifications

English/German bilingual; military installation/AHJ acceptance; integrated controls testing.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access

  • Candidate must possess unrestricted EU/EEA/Swiss labor-market access or other valid German work authorization before starting.
  • Lawful Germany work authorization/status and installation access are required before in-country duties.
  • Germany-qualified fire-alarm subcontract work package.
  • No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.

Field, Travel and Employment Conditions

  • Work arrangement: PHASE-BASED ONSITE - physical presence mandatory during assigned work; minimum presence: Mandatory onsite for pretests, final tests, correction verification and acceptance.
  • Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
  • Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
  • Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
