About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Translates the integrated plan into safe, coordinated daily field production across Site 1, Site 2, and the interconnection corridor.

What You Will Do

• Direct daily construction across Site 1, Site 2, and the corridor; convert the baseline into rolling work plans and accountable crew targets.
• Integrate civil, electrical, mechanical, fuel, controls, communications, OEM, logistics, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Manage access, laydown, deliveries, outages, temporary facilities, work release, material flow, interfaces, and recovery.
• Coordinate CQC and SSHO without compromising their independent authority; resolve field constraints and subcontractor underperformance.
• Act for PM-001 when delegated and support Government walks, reporting, turnover, and acceptance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience; 12+ years construction and 7+ years senior field leadership.
• Multisite civil/electrical/mechanical subcontractor coordination, look-ahead planning, logistics, productivity, and commissioning readiness.
• Ability to reside and work in Germany under the approved status/work-permit pathway.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English sufficiently to explain work operations and receive Government instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

CCM/PMP; USACE/federal; microgrid/substation/generation; OCONUS.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access

• Selection remains subject to contract qualifications, installation access, employer-of-record and data/system permissions.
• Germany-local employment, approved DOCPER/ECOPS accreditation, or other lawful long-term work authorization before onsite work.
• Direct employment by ERP/the prime is required for this Section 01 45 05 role unless a specific contract exception or written Contracting Officer approval applies.
• No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.

Field, Travel and Employment Conditions

• Work arrangement: FULL-TIME ONSITE - remote work is incidental; minimum presence: Full-time field command across both sites and corridor.
• Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
• Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
• Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
