About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Leads the Accident Prevention Plan and safety program with independent authority to stop work for imminent danger or material noncompliance.

What You Will Do

• Develop, maintain, and enforce the APP, AHAs, permits, inspections, training, emergency response, and incident reporting.
• Coordinate competent/qualified persons for excavation, electrical, lifting, scaffolding, confined space, fall, fuel, traffic, and hot work.
• Administer LOTOTO, energized-work, HAZMAT, utility/UXO, medical, environmental-health, and bilingual emergency controls.
• Investigate incidents/near misses; track corrective action and recurring-hazard elimination.
• Maintain required onsite coverage and independent stop-work authority.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years construction safety including 5+ years on federal or comparably complex work.
• OSHA 30 Construction, First Aid/CPR, and demonstrated EM 385-1-1 experience.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Germany and coordinate multilingual crews.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English sufficiently to explain work operations and receive Government instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

CSP, CHST, ASP; electrical/utility/fuel safety; OCONUS.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access

• Selection remains subject to contract qualifications, installation access, employer-of-record and data/system permissions.
• Germany-local employment, approved DOCPER/ECOPS accreditation, or other lawful long-term work authorization before onsite work.
• Direct employment by ERP/the prime is required for this Section 01 45 05 role unless a specific contract exception or written Contracting Officer approval applies.
• No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.

Field, Travel and Employment Conditions

• Work arrangement: FULL-TIME ONSITE - remote work is incidental; minimum presence: Full-time whenever contract work is performed.
• Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
• Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
• Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
