About ERP and the Project
Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.
Position Summary
Leads all Site 2 generator, fuel, civil, mechanical, electrical, switchgear, controls, OEM, testing, and turnover execution.
What You Will Do
- Plan and execute generator, fuel, civil, mechanical, electrical, switchgear, controls, OEM, logistics, testing, and punch activities.
- Verify design, permit/AHJ, material, access, AHA, inspection, and work-front prerequisites before installation or testing.
- Coordinate foundations, setting, fuel storage/distribution, containment, ventilation/exhaust, MV equipment, controls, fire/environmental, and commissioning interfaces.
- Track production, OEM readiness, tests, deficiencies, redlines, and turnover by system.
- Protect mission operations and deliver safe, leak-free, commissioning-ready generation and fuel systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Directly related generation, fuel, industrial civil/mechanical/electrical, OEM, or superintendent experience appropriate to the LCAT.
- Required Germany/EU work authorization, trade/OEM qualifications, and safety/environmental competence for onsite roles.
- Ability to perform in an active U.S. military installation under ERP, CQC, SSHO, and host-nation controls.
Preferred Qualifications
1 MW-class generation, military fuel systems, 20 kV, VDE, OEM, federal/OCONUS, or German-language experience.
Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access
- Selection remains subject to contract qualifications, installation access, employer-of-record and data/system permissions.
- Germany-local employment, approved DOCPER/ECOPS accreditation, or other lawful long-term work authorization before onsite work.
- Employer/engagement source must match the approved ERP staffing plan, subcontract chain, independence rules and German employment/work-status requirements.
- No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.
Field, Travel and Employment Conditions
- Work arrangement: FULL-TIME ONSITE - remote work is incidental; minimum presence: Full-time at Site 2 and fuel-yard work front.
- Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
- Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
- Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
